Mickey Haller as Manuel Garcia-Rulfo
Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, is a Mexican attorney based out of his Lincoln SUV. Haller was born in Los Angeles. Mickey, who had become addicted to painkillers after an injury, returns to work after Jerry Vincent, a colleague lawyer, d!es under unexplained circumstances and leaves his entire practice and caseload to Mickey.
He is still on good terms with his ex-wives and employs a client-turned-driver to get him to and from work. After a huge victory at the end of Season 1, Mickey is unquestionably the “hottest defence lawyer in LA” at the start of Season 2.
Mexican-born Garcia-Rulfo began his acting career there and has since been in Hollywood hits like The Magnificent Seven, Mu*der on the Orient Express, and 6 Underground.
Lorna as Becki Newton
Lorna, played by Becki Newton, is Mickey’s second ex-wife and current office manager and de facto paralegal due to her background as a promising law student who never completed her JD. Mickey is closer to Lorna than Maggie is, so even though they’ve been estranged for a long time and Lorna is now engaged to Cisco, they still respect and adore one another.
Newton has starred in How I Met Your Mother and Divorce, among other comedies, but she is best remembered for her role as the catty yet kind receptionist Amanda on Ugly Betty.

Maggie as Neve Campbell
Maggie, Mickey’s ex-wife, and Haley’s mom, is played by Neve Campbell, who is also a deputy district attorney. Maggie has strong views about the importance of the judicial system, which are in contrast with Mickey’s vision of the US power structure.
Even though they had a d!vorce because Mickey put his career above his family, the chemistry between them is still strong. Campbell is the epitome of the scream queen thanks to her role as Sidney Prescott in the Scream film series, but she has also guest starred on shows like Grey’s Anatomy and House of Cards.

Jazz Izzy, played by Raycole, is a former professional dancer who was once one of Mickey’s clients and is now sober from a past addiction to painkillers. Mickey offered her a job as his personal driver when she didn’t have enough money to pay for his services.
Raycole has been acting and dancing professionally since the late ’90s, with roles in shows like My Wife and Kids, Bones, and The Quad.
