A new video of Will Smith telling Chris Rock, "My behavior was inappropriate, and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk,

Almost four months to the day after smacking Rock across the face at the Oscars, Will, 53, apologized to him again and said, "I'm here whenever you're ready

After contacting Chris, Will received a response stating that he isn't interested in talking at this time but will get back to him when he's ready to do so.

"So, Chris, I'm sorry for what I've done. I'm available whenever you're ready to talk about my improper behavior." Will stated, "I was fogged up by that point.

The King Richard actor went on to explain that he would also like to apologize to Rock's mother: "I saw an interview that his mother gave. That's one of the things

Will, who later resigned from the Academy and was barred from attending their ceremonies for the next decade, stated in his resignation letter

."I was out of line and in error," he continued. "I am ashamed because my behaviors did not reflect the guy I aspire to be. Violence has no place in a world of love and peace."

Rock has made fleeting references to the moment during stand-up performances since the Oscars, but he has not yet discussed it at length.
