If The Elder Scrolls VI does take a completely different direction, perhaps we will see the addition of a few more races to the formula, each with its unique narrative and gameplay mechanics. However, Skyrim did not receive any new races. Hence it is less probable that The Elder Scrolls VI would introduce any new species or races.
