Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Season 2 Release Date

The Sugar Apple Fairy Tale anime will return for a second season in July 2023, the production team revealed shortly after the series finale. A new P.V. trailer, a compilation of previously aired episodes, verified the news. The first season debuted on January 6, 2023, and ran for 12 episodes until concluding on March 24, 2023.

Youhei Suzuki (Kiyo in Kyoto, Million Arthur) is the anime’s director. At the same time, Seishi Minakami (Vatican Miracle Examiner) is the show’s screenwriter, and Haruko Iizuka (Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish, Horimiya) is the show’s character designer. Hinako Tsubakiyama (co-composer of Sabikui Bisco) is the show’s music composer. J.C. STAFF heads up the animation production.

Asuka Hino (The Devil Girl Next Door) is the color designer, while Hidenori Manaka (Orient) is the photography director. Akira Suzuki (The Duke of Death and His Maid) is the art director.

Rie Takahashi plays Mythrill Reid Pod, Tomoaki Maeno is Hugh Mercury, and Yuka Nukui is Ann Halford. Masaaki Mizunaka voices Shall Fen Shall. Takuma Terashima portrays Catt, Reiji Kawashima plays Jonas, and Yuuto Uemura plays Keith.

Light novels by Miri Mikawa and illustrated by Aki serve as the basis for the anime. There were a total of seventeen books and two collections of short stories released between March 31, 2010, and February 1, 2015. Kadokawa Beans Bunko is the imprint under which this series was released.
