Overwatch Patch Notes Season 3
Blizzard has posted the patch notes for Overwatch 2 in advance of the next season, which begins on February 7. There are a lot of changes to heroes in this update, and some of them are meant to make Mercy less powerful.
With the upcoming patch, Mercy will see the most significant changes, including a lengthening of the time it takes for her mobility abilities to cool down from 1.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds. Although her healing rate is decreasing from 55 to 45 per second, it will increase by 50% for teammates with less than half of their health.
Since Mercy’s self-healing is now equal to 25% of her output, she is also losing the support passive where she heals over time. These adjustments are made so that she must spend more time healing her team in order to regain her health instead of spending it damage-boosting high-damage heroes like Sojourn, Widowmaker, and Ashe.
In the future patch, we’re giving Wrecking Ball some improvements that will make him more capable of standing on his own. To create shields that replenish over time, he is expending 150 of his current health. The cooldown on his Pile Driver ability is being lowered from 10 to 8 seconds, while the arming time on his Minefield ultimate is being lowered from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.

If he lands both charges on a hero with 200 health, he will kill it. To keep adversaries from being knocked out of melee range by accident, Reinhardt‘s main attack’s knockback range is being reduced by around 40%.
In an effort to prevent him from one-shotting enemies, the direct hit damage of his ultimate ability Earthshatter has been lowered from 250 to 170. The duration of their knockdown has been raised from 2.5 seconds to 2.75 seconds, although the effect on enemies at greater distances has not changed.
In addition, teams can now pick to have more than one tank on their team when playing in non-role queue playlists, resulting in a large reduction in health for all tank heroes. Streamer Project Feature Is Being Introduced

Mystery Heroes Changes
- Mystery heroes now limits each team to a maximum of three of each role.
Example: You are Reinhardt in Mystery Heroes. Your team also includes Mercy, Ana, and Lucio. When you die, you cannot respawn as a Support hero because there are already three Support heroes on your team. You will either be respawned as a Damage or a Tank hero - This new maximum role limit can be changed in Custom Games under Settings > Modes > All > Random Hero Role Limit Per Team,

Tough Competition Is Being Unveiled
