The first time we saw Lauren London, she paired with actor and musician Tip “TI” Harris in the movie ATL. London received an invitation to act in the movie This Christmas opposite Loretta Devine, Idris Elba, and Regina King as a result of her breakthrough success in Atlanta. The young love comedy I Love You, Beth Cooper, starring Hayden Panettiere, was her next movie role. On Everybody Hates Chris, London made her television debut.

The Californian native hasn’t had it easy, speaking of love. Nipsey Hussle (born Ermias Joseph Asghedom), her youngest kid, lost both her boyfriend and her father in 2019. She stated that giving birth to her first kid with rapper Lil Wayne was a terrifying experience. “When I was 24, I gave birth to my first kid, and I was really scared”. She recalled, “I didn’t think I was going to do well, and I wasn’t ready”. I had no idea what would transpire or what I would do.
Kross Asghedom, the son of Lauren and Nipsey, is 6 years old, while Kameron Carter, the son of Lauren and Lil Wayne, is currently 13 years old. The music video singer, model, and actress prefers to keep family life fairly low-key, only occasionally posting pictures of her boys to social media. The newest film from Black-ish creator Kenya Barris centers on an interfaith and interracial couple (Jonah Hill and London) whose families disagree before their nuptials. London claimed that she was persuaded to accept the role over a lunch conversation with Barris, Hill, and Kevin Misher, the film’s producers.
