Kellie Pickler’s Husband Kyle Jacobs P@ssed Away at the Age of 49

Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler’s late spouse, has been reported to have committed su!cide three months after his de@th. On February 17, police were called to the couple’s Nashville home when they discovered the body of songwriter/producer Jacobs, 49, in what they believe to be a su!cide. He was found in a bedroom/office upstairs.

According to E News, a spokesman for the Davidson County Medical Examiner confirmed on Tuesday (May 9) that Jacobs had committed su!cide, with toxicology results showing that the man responsible for Garth Brooks’ Hot Country Songs chart-topper “More Than a Memory” did not have any drugs in his system.

Autopsy results obtained by Taste of Country reveal that Jacobs had a history of “pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use,” among other things.

In February of this year, police were dispatched to the Tennessee home of American Idol alumna Kellie Pickler (2006) after she reported that she had woken up and couldn’t find her husband. After starring together on I Love Kellie Pickler for three seasons, reality television stars Jacobs and Pickler tied the knot on January 1, 2011.
