How Old Is Brandi Carlile: She Is Popping Off At The 65th Grammys In LA!

Brandi Carlile is a musician whose yearning, the inquisitive spirit are matched by her powerful, soaring voice. She made a sensation with her self-titled debut album in 2005, but the popular acclaim for her 2018 album By the Way, I Forgive You was so quick it almost seemed to arrive overnight. The haunting, churning “The Story” earned Carlile a gold certification for the album of the same name between those two albums, but she worked consistently and dependably, developing a cult following and industry connections that culminated with By the Way, I Forgive You, which ended up winning half of the Grammys it was nominated for.

With her profile rising, Carlile took advantage of her success by forming the country supergroup the Highwaymen with Amanda Shires, Maren Morris, and Natalie Hemby. The Highwomen’s 2019 debut served to highlight Carlile’s stardom and artistic breadth. With the release of In These Silent Days in 2021, Carlile resumed her solo career. This led to the subsequent 2022 album In the Canyon Haze.
