Gamescom 2022: Install These Outstanding Mobile Games Immediately!

We had the opportunity to play the games in person while Gamescom was taking place. Even while mobile gaming only made up a minor portion of Gamescom, there were still many intriguing mobile-specific games to play.

The six most entertaining mobile games at Gamescom have been selected by us. These are titles we’ll be keeping an eye on for the rest of the year in anticipation of their full release, with the exception of Genshin Impact’s 3.0 upgrade, which is available right now.

Wreckfest Mobile

The racing game with a demolition derby theme, Wreckfest, is coming to mobile. Gamescom was our first opportunity to test out an early alpha build, even though it was officially revealed last week.

It plays exactly the same if you have an Android controller as it does if you have the PC or console versions. Even if the touch controls were a little awkward, the game’s good performance was surprising given how much work goes into Wreckfest’s soft-body modeling.

We advise playing it when it launches because not many Android games have physics engines as outstanding as this one. Unfortunately, there isn’t a release date set yet, so we might have to wait a while. Pre-register through the Play Store if you want to receive notifications right away.

Tower Of Fantasy Vera 2.0

Tower of Fantasy, a gacha/MMO hybrid, went global in August 2022, but the first free expansion has already been announced. Its name, Vera, was first revealed at Gamescom earlier today. If you’ve only recently begun playing Tower of Fantasy, a new expansion can sound intimidating, but you still have time before it releases later this year.

The new cyberpunk-themed area in the game with the name Vera features new enemies, weapons, horses, quests, events, and more. Like the rest of the game, you can take on the region either by yourself or with the company.

Genshin Impact Sumeru

After more than a year since the last region drop for Genshin Impact, Sumeru, a region with a jungle theme and a lot more to offer, is now available with the 3.0 update. While accessing the region requires reaching a certain point in the main questline, once there, the entire region is open for exploration.

Along with a tonne of brand-new adventures and stories, Sumeru delivers new gameplay mechanics that will impact your experience no matter where you are. Innumerable attack combinations and party-building techniques are now possible because of the addition of the Dendro element, while the new Four-Leaf Sigil mechanism lets you avoid tiresome walking or gliding.

Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail has been seen by some as the first significant rival to Genshin Impact because, at first glance, it appears to be identical, and with good reason—it is produced by the same firm, HoYoverse. However, even if it borrows a lot of aspects from the developer’s flagship game, it adds enough fresh content to stand on its own. Honkai Star Rail, on the other hand, might be on course to become the best gacha game on Android when it debuts thanks to special elements like its turn-based fighting system.

Unfortunately, we don’t yet know when it will be released. For a quick glance at the gameplay, you can watch our video Impact up top. Whether you believe Honkai: Star Rail will compete with Genshin Impact or not, it promises a vibrant open environment, a large cast of characters, and enough gacha gambling to empty your bank account.

How To Say Goodbye

ARTE Experience has released the narrative puzzle game How to Say Goodbye. Even though the game is only 3–4 hours long, it promises a unique experience. The aesthetics are inspired by picture books, and your task is to help wandering spirits get to another dimension. You must change the environment to accomplish this while avoiding the evil spirits that want to grab you.

We were impressed by the game’s tactile sensation during our hands-on because the vibrations allowed us to feel every shift in the ground. How to Say Goodbye, which will be released later this fall, promises to be a lovely and unique experience.

Idea is both a social event and a game. In order to get to the end, you will bounce a light bulb across actual areas and come across commonplace items. However, you don’t have a limitless amount of time; you are running out of time. If you run out of time, the game will ask you to enter a thought for later use by other players. It’s a cute little game that, if internet trolls don’t spoil it, may be a relaxing way to unwind when it launches later this autumn.

Want The Announcements To Happen Right Away?

The only game on this list that is now available is Genshin Impact’s Sumeru update, but you won’t have to wait long to play Tower of Fantasy or How to Say Goodbye. Play one of the top Android games while you wait, in the interim.
