Fortnite Map Creative 2.0 Teams Revamp the Classic Chapter
Now that Fortnite’s Creative Mode has been updated, players are racing to build a replica of the game’s original area. The teams are using the recently released Fortnite PC add-on Unreal Editor for Fortnite (also known as Fortnite Creative 2.0).
The Unreal Editor for Fortnite allows gamers to “design, develop, and publish games and experiences directly into Fortnite, ” as said during yesterday’s State of Unreal event, according to ign.com. The new tool is compatible with Unreal Engine 5.
It expands upon the concepts introduced in the original Fortnite Creative toolkit to allow users to create even more customized content, models, textures, and visual effects. It’s a massive deal for the developers of Fortnite, and we can see how things could develop.
Immediately upon unveiling the Unreal Editor for Fortnite, several groups set to work finishing their versions of the game’s original island.
A group known as Atlas OG Battle Royale has already produced their version of the original Fortnite island.
