Diablo IV is the fourth installment in the Diablo series, and it is a dungeon crawler action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The game was announced at BlizzCon 2019 and will be released on November 1, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It was announced in June 2022 for a 2023 release, along with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The Necromancer class is the final one to appear in Diablo 4! During the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, Blizzard Entertainment announced the news. During the presentation, Blizzard Entertainment also demonstrated Diablo 4 gameplay on the Xbox Series X. While the Necromancer is the fifth and final class to appear in Diablo 4, Blizzard Entertainment has previously revealed that players can also play as a Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, or Sorceress.

Signups for Diablo 4’s beta are now open, so players can sign up for a chance to play a portion of the game early.
This was first revealed at BlizzCon 2019 as a dark action role-playing game with a world design that brings back the gothic presentation of the previous game while still pushing the series’ visual benchmarks. While the most recent mainline game, Diablo 3, was released in 2012, Blizzard Entertainment recently released Diablo Immortal for mobile devices and PC.

It all comes as Microsoft works to acquire Activision Blizzard, a deal valued at around $69 billion that, if completed, would be the company’s largest gaming acquisition ever. The agreement is currently set to expire at some point during Microsoft’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, with Microsoft President Brad Smith stating that the deal is moving “as fast” as can be expected given the size of the acquisition.
