CeeLo Green Takes A Tumble At Shawty Lo Birthday Bash
Not even CeeLo Green could show up honorably to Shawty Lo’s birthday party for the dead on Wednesday(September 21, 2016). The artist, hosting the tribute show at The Bank in Atlanta, attempted to ride his horse to the stage, but the animal had other ideas.
V-103 DJ Lil Bankhead posted a video of the “Crazy” singer grinning as animal handlers escorted him into the event. The emcee yelled, “get out the horse way” as Lil Baby’s “Freestyle” played in the background.
The nervous horse made a series of jerky movements that knocked the 47-year-old off his steed. Many celebrities, including Jermaine Dupri, Waka Flocka Flame, and Vedo, commented on the hilarious clip.
Green advertised the party on Instagram, stating that anyone could attend for $17.50 or spend as much as $1000 for a VIP section. The event was restricted to those over 21, and attendees must wear all black.
Fabo of D4L was reportedly there, as well as artist T.I. and DJ Greg Street, according to HipHopDX. The advertising materials also list D4L member Mook-B as the D.J.

Shawty Lo, whose actual name was Carlos Rico Walker, was 40 years old when he perished in a car crash in September 2016. Two further passengers were hurt but managed to escape. After his body was thrown from the car, investigators determined that Shawty Lo Pills was Found at the Time of De@th, and he died of blunt-force trauma to the head.
