The Little Mermaid’s plot is as follows, according to Disney, for people who are unfamiliar with the old tale:
“The Little Mermaid is the well-known tale of Ariel, a young mermaid who is lovely and courageous and has a desire for exploration. Ariel, the most rebellious and youngest of King Triton’s daughters, longs to learn more about the world above the sea and develops feelings for the handsome Prince Eric while on land. Halle Bailey is the actress portraying Ariel, the beloved mermaid. Following the “whitewashing” of actress Halle Bailey in the “The Little Mermaid” trailer by an artificial intelligence researcher, Twitter ruled that two users could not exist in reality. Other users on the website have accused the AI guy of digitally replacing Bailey, who is black, with a phony white actress in addition to canceling their accounts.
The viral message spread days after it was claimed that over 1.5 million “racist” YouTube users disapproved of the new Disney movie’s teaser because the previously white-skinned, red-headed Ariel is now a black lady.

By employing artificial intelligence (AI), Twitter user @TenGazillioinIQ went one step further and “corrected” the clip by making the live-action fish woman white. According to screenshots captured by DailyMail before the account was suspended, the tweet by another user, @vandalibm, stated, “Credits to our member Artificial Intelligence scientist @TenGazillioinIQ.”
Another user caught the tweet early on and screenshotted it to draw attention to the contentious pieces of art by the artist. The promoter tweeted, “He altered The Little Mermaid and converted the awakened actor into a ginger white girl.” He claims to be able to correct the entire motion and produces 4x A6000 in 24 hours.
For wokecels, the game is done. In a subsequent tweet, the user clarified that the change was “purely educational” and urged people not to “misinterpret this in a racist way.” “I just wanted to show people his field of study since I am so impressed by my high-IQ friend who works with artificial intelligence and the stuff he can develop,” they continued.
However, online haters quickly criticized both accounts for their “racist” examples. Another commenter disagreed, saying, This IS pretty educational. For instance, everyone on Twitter discovered that @vandalibm and @TenGazillionIQ are racist, but these two only discovered this after their accounts were terminated or suspended.
