‘Aquaman 2’ major spoilers revealed by Amber Heard’s witness in Johnny Depp defamation trial

During the continuous trial of Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against Amber Heard, the actress witness, Kathryn Arnold, spilt a couple of spoilers from an early version of the Aquaman 2 script. Kathryn is an entertainment industry expert, who took the stand to show the damage caused to Amber’s career due to Johnny Depp’s allegation that the actress orchestrated an ‘abuse hoax’ against him in a 2020 interview.

During the trial, Amber tried to avoid giving the spoiler from Aquaman 2. Nonetheless, Kathryn went further while recalling what the actress had told her about the changes to an early version of the script.”I believe that in the first act of the movie, she was injured somehow, or it had something to do with a baby,” Kathryn said in her testimony.

Speaking further about the movie, Amber’s witness said, “(Mera) ends up in the hospital early in this new Aquaman 2 movie and doesn’t really come out until the end to kind of wrap things up. All the interactions with Momoa’s character, and certainly the action scenes, were taken out.”

Kathryn also added that Amber “trained 5 hours a day for several months with the trainer to do this big action sequence.” Yet, she didn’t actually realize that her role was shrunk until Amber went to shoot the film. “So [her role] was radically reduced from what it was in the script and what she even trained for while she was preparing for the movie.”
