Age of Empires 2 will be available for Xbox on Tuesday, January 31. Age of Empires 2 is available in Standard or Deluxe editions on the Xbox Store, with the latter including a variety of DLC items. It is also included with Xbox Game Pass on the same day of release.
Age Of Empires 2 Xbox Preload Time
Age of Empires 2 is already available for preload on Xbox Game Pass ahead of release, although it is not yet the complete install. It is currently simply a 300MB placeholder file, but it will soon undergo an automatic upgrade.

According to the Xbox Store, the Age of Empires 2 Xbox download size was roughly 18.26GB at launch. Remember that this excludes any possible day-one updates that we could observe.
