Edge is saying that according to a reliable source (who spilled the Gears of War 3 details a few months ago) is going for back-to-back accurate rumors. This time the latest word is that Project Natal will not only be out this October, but will be sold at a $149 dollar price point. It will also be packaged in with new Xbox 360s for $299, and there are a few other tid bits of information that should be noted.

“Microsoft expects to sell millions and millions of Natal units in its first year on the market so you can expect the software launch line-up to target non-traditional gamers, a major marketing campaign will also play a key role in attracting and educating the expanded audience about Xbox 360’s controller-free revolution” said the source.

This information seems pretty likely considering all the recent sneak peaks at Natal’s price point from European retailers and alike. There’s also the fact that E3 is only a few weeks away and it’s possible that companies are already informing their employees what will be at the show so some plans could’ve been leaked. Either way, for me personally I think $150 dollars for Natal is a little above what my expectations for the price would be, but I guess with a decently summed price point it means the device might actually work? I guess we’ll find out October.
