Fable 3 Lets You Bone Your Friends… What?

Here’s my nomination for the biggest “Dude, what?” News of the week. Official Xbox Magazine’s cover issue dedicated to Fable III is out now, and apparently the most interesting part of the entire preview is… you can have sex with your Xbox Live friends.

Officially: “The team seems committed to ensuring the [co-op] experience is in no way compromised, you’ll be able to enjoy, ahem, intimate moments with your co-op friend and eventually produce offspring together.” These are the words of the preview writer, and not anyone on staff at Lionhead.

Needless to say, this is likely going to be the most awkward part of the entire game. I don’t have any girls on my Xbox Friends list, and even if I did I can’t imagine how you bring that up. “Hey so, we’ve known each other for a while now… and I was thinking we should do it in Fable 3.” I imagine a lot of people responding with “I’m sorry what? You cut out.” When in reality you didn’t. TAKE THE HINT. DROP IT AND CUT YOUR LOSSES.
