Welcome to Version 5!

Welcome to TalkXbox v5! This redesign has been in the works for the past couple of months and after a lot of hard work and transferring data over; everything has been finalized! Things should look radically different compared to v4, but everything should be much easier to navigate. Be sure to take a few minutes to explore how things have changed and comment on what you think of the new look. All of us here at TalkXbox believe this redesign was necessary to keep our interface quality and simple. Hopefully you like the new look, hit the jump for a bulleted list of changes:

• Three feature images instead of one flash rotator. This means you won’t need to have flash enabled to view our content
• Expanded news images and format, making it easier to view stories
• New review system, no more 100 point scale, instead we have a five star system with “likes” and “dislikes.” Be sure to read our review guide.
• Easier database management. If you want to see all our Editorials for example, just click the Editorials tab, same with podcasts, reviews, news, and previews
• The search bar should be more effective to find what you need
• Latest articles on the right hand side so you can view articles that may not be in the feature images
• Podcasts can now be listened to in-browser without having to download quicktime.
• An RSS, Facebook, and twitter buttons in the top right hand corner
• And a whole bunch more

Keep in mind that we launched today (03/31/10) so we may still be ironing out any mistakes that were made during the transfer. Everything should be perfect in a few days though. Let us know what you think, comment below:
