Busted: Slim 360 Rumour Is “Speculation”

Like many have speculated so far, the rumour about the slim model Xbox 360 is nothing more then that – a rumour.
Split Screen have posted up a segment of an official Microsoft press release on the matter, and whilst the ‘Slim60′ is a possibility, it’s probably not going to happen within the time frame they or GameGuru suggested. Nevermind.
Here’s what MS had to say:
"We would not like to comment on any market speculation or rumor. In India, we have the Xbox 360 Core and the Xbox 360 Pro console currently available in the market. There are exciting new game titles like Gears of War 2, Fable II and Fallout 3 in the pipeline for the holiday season along with special promotions and festival offers…"
