Xbox DVD Movie Playback Kit

When you are tired of playing those awesome riches Xbox is marinated with, you could sit back and relax by watching a movie or listening to your favorite music track. But relaxation is going to cost you some money, this is because Xbox, unlike the Playstation 2, requires a special remote to enable the DVD section of the Xbox, with out the remote you can not watch movies. But thankfully, you could still relax with the tunes of your favorite artist.

When you do decide that you want to watch movies on your Xbox, the first thing to do is go to the store and buy $29.99 Xbox DVD Movie Playback Kit. The “kit” comes with the remote and the receiver that must be plugged into one of the controller ports.

The kit unlocks a powerful DVD player with most of the functions a real DVD player has. However, a big draw back of the remote is that it does not include a power on/off button, which is somewhat sad, almost all remotes have a power on/off button.

The remote its self isn’t made out of high quality, when you hold it – it feels like a hollow piece of plastic, it is very light, and it feels very cheap.

There are no alternative to the official remote, and you will forced to shell out $29.99 if you want to turn you Xbox to more then just a gaming monster.
