Pepsi Vanilla
Let's have a history lesson shall we? Way back in the early 1900's, and I mean that literally, around 1903, Coca-Cola was distributed to the mass market. Then, dozens of knock-offs were made, one of them, called Pepsi-Cola.
All but one of the many knock-offs failed. Pepsi somehow survived. But just barely. Pepsi was nothing more than a slightly altered version of Coca-Cola. Except they didn't have all of the ingredients. So they had to find new ways to keep that out of the minds of the public. Catchy commercials. Celebrity appearances. And so on.
Present day. The success of Vanilla Coke has once again prompted Pepsi to rip-off an original idea invented and perfected by a far better and more original company. Now, Pepsi Vanilla, the most unoriginal drink since Pepsi itself, has been introduced.
Seriously, how dumb do the people at Pepsi think we are? It's pretty obvious history is repeating itself here. Coca-Cola comes out with a new, innovative idea, and Pepsi has to copy it because not one person who works there has a creative bone in their bodies. Coca-Cola is Red, so Pepsi had to be Blue. Coke made Cherry Coke, Pepsi had to make Pepsi Blue.... that sounds a bit strange doesn't it?
But don't you all see what I'm getting at? Pepsi thinks they can just copy an idea, slap Britney Spear's face on it and think it'll sell millions. :11:
