The recently released demo of Splinter Cell: Conviction was a pleasant surprise, and whilst it had a mixed reception, it’s one of the highest rated demo’s on the Xbox Live marketplace. It’s quite interesting then, how Ubisoft creative director Maxime Beland stated it was a ‘nerve wracking’ process.

According to Microsoft, a 250GB hard drive will be released in the UK come April. It will cost £79.99.
Proving they believe digital distribution is the future, a Microsoft representative stated: “The 250GB hard drive offers the player more space to store game content and full titles with games on demand. We all know Valve as being a developer fairly comfortable with its own creation process. With most of the games they release, they usually have some kind of ‘directors commentary’ to boast inform you of how they did it.

BioWare has released information regarding the upcoming DLC for Mass Effect 2, named ‘Kasumi’s Stolen Memory.’ The DLC will cost 560 Microsoft Points for the 360, and 560 BioWare points on PC, which is roughly the same cost. Kasumi is set to be one of the most intriguing characters in Mass Effect history, and has been named “the galaxy’s most enigmatic thief.”

Things have been quiet on planet Sera, every since Marcus Fenix and his merry band of heroic soldiers dispatched the Locust threat, and rode off into the sunset at the end of Gears of War 2. According to Matias Myllyrinne, managing director of Remedy Entertainment, Alan Wake’s DLC support will depend entirely on how the game is received. It has already been revealed that Remedy plan to support the games episodic nature with future DLC packs, but the quantity of these packs are purely controlled by how successful the game actually is.
