Skate 2 Demo January 9th

Skate 2’s official Xbox page is saying that there will be a Skate 2 demo up on the marketplace starting January 8th 11:55pm EST, meaning January 9th for those of us who do not prowl the night.

Apparently this demo is getting similar treatment that the Fable 2 DLC got, so if you download the demo between January 8th and 15th, you could win 4000 Microsoft Points and some real skate decks. The details are on the official page.

I wasn’t a fan of the first skate, but I’m willing to see how this demo turns out. I’ve heard that you’ll be able to get off your board and walk up stairs, so the game is already 500 times better than the first. Now hopefully they’ll curve the difficulty of the game down, so I can actually finish the damn game.
