Marty Turco to Cover NHL 2K6

2K sports, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, announced today that Marty Turco, the Dallas Stars' All-Star Goalie, will be the cover athlete and official spokesperson for NHL 2k6. If you have forgotten who he is because of the lockout, Marty Turco is one of the NHL's premier goaltenders.

Playing out of the net often, Turco made himself the most fun goalie to watch in the league by firing perfect passes up-ice to teammates for quick advances. This is not the only element to his game, however. Turco has the NCAA record for career victories (127), and in 2001 (1 year after he made his entrance into the NHL), he led the NHL with the lowest Goals Against Average (1.90) and best save percentage (.925)

NHL 2K6 is set to release in early Fall 2005 for the Xbox video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
