Are you a Japanese reader looking for the right Xbox 360 Bundle to buy? Well you’re in luck, because Lost Planet 2 is getting bundle treatment (at least, in Japan). With this bundle purchasers will get the console, 60GB harddrive, the game, HD AV Cables, headset, AC Adapter, LAN cable, wireless controller, batteries, and a wonderful instruction manual. As cool as this bundle sounds, I still think its totally insane that Microsoft is releasing entry-level bundles, five years after launch of the console. I guess we’re getting that ten year cycle after all?

Its been a while since we heard anything out from Epic. Gears of War 2 was released late 2008 which means it’ll be close to two years since its release this coming season. So far we’ve heard nothing from the famed developer, but that might change tomorrow night. According to Jimmy Fallon’s Twitter Page, Cliff Bleszinski will be showing up on the show to talk about his new game.

There are a few possibilities for what could be announced or talked about on the Late Night, and it might not necessarily be the Gears of War 3 announcement that everyone is predicting. Click the jump for more information.

Celebrate the release of Modern Warfare 2’s stimulus package map pack with double the amount of experience. From now till April 5th everything will be DOUBLED. Which means next time you frag some kills, be sure to display your broaden sense of sportsman ship and say their death was two times better than usual. This double XP week is for all players, so you don’t need the stimulus package to get the benefits. That’s probably a good thing since those maps seem way over priced.

What do you do when a single Spider-Man game can’t support itself? Merge four of them into one! At least that seems to be the case with Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Activision has announced this game today along with a spiffy looking trailers depicting two entirely different Spider-Man’s co-existing in the same game. One of which is The Amazing Spiderman (who we’ve seen before) and the other is Noir Spider-Man, a universe that hasn’t been touched by video games yet.

Bungie has a reputation of fooling their fans in the past, so it might be best to take some hesitation with this news. Bungie’s twitter has posted an image and hints that “something big is dropping this week.” I’ve got a few ideas of what could possibly be going down this week.

Here are some possibilities (After the jump):

According to Robert Bowlings Twitter, Infinity Ward has made a fix for the multiplayer’s ‘super speed’ glitch. Bowling states we should “Expect a playlist update later today on #MW2 for Xbox Live. It’ll prevent “super speed” games.”

Hopefully, this will signal the end of MW2’s online bugs.

According to Microsoft, a 250GB hard drive will be released in the UK come April. It will cost £79.99.

Proving they believe digital distribution is the future, a Microsoft representative stated: “The 250GB hard drive offers the player more space to store game content and full titles with games on demand. They’ll also have more freedom to download the latest demos, Xbox Live arcade games, TV shows, movies, music and more straight to their Xbox 360 console.”

We all know Valve as being a developer fairly comfortable with its own creation process. With most of the games they release, they usually have some kind of ‘directors commentary’ to boast inform you of how they did it.

BioWare has released information regarding the upcoming DLC for Mass Effect 2, named ‘Kasumi’s Stolen Memory.’ The DLC will cost 560 Microsoft Points for the 360, and 560 BioWare points on PC, which is roughly the same cost. Kasumi is set to be one of the most intriguing characters in Mass Effect history, and has been named “the galaxy’s most enigmatic thief.”

Expected release date, 6th April.

This week’s podcast talks non-stop about disappointments of the year, as well as encouraging our fellow game playing degenerates to read a book. There’s no shortage of viral marketing options, for any form of entertainment to get their promotions campaign rolling. Ubisoft is employing Twitter to help set the tone for Splinter Cell: Conviction. Using an account dubbed www.Twitter.com/real_samfisher, there have been numerous updates about Mr. Fishers motives for his “mission”. A bunch of vague stuff like “When you believe, it’s easy to sacrifice,” or “Don’t Believe What You Hear, My Mission Is One of Justice”.

There’s nothing like a some good gossip to set things off nicely, and there is some juicy gossip that has been floating around. There’s been some speculation that Microsoft is about to unveil a brand-spanking new slim version of the Xbox 360; but without proof it’s just talk right? Well there have been some pics of a new slimmer motherboard that have surface, that would add some credence to the speculation.

Bethesda Softworks has revealed in a press release that it will be publishing a new co-op fantasy game created by inXile Entertainment. This new third-person action game is set in a dark fantasy world in which you play as one of two mercenaries, in what appears to be a Gears of War style cover-based shooter. The difference here being that the combat is rooted with swordplay, bows, and magic.

Things have been quiet on planet Sera, every since Marcus Fenix and his merry band of heroic soldiers dispatched the Locust threat, and rode off into the sunset at the end of Gears of War 2. Sure there were a couple of cliff hangers, Marcus’ dad working with the Locust queen, and possibly more? And Marcus making ga ga eyes at Anya, but what about the Locust? I mean the don’t take getting their asses handed to them lightly, so you know they will be back and out for blood.
